Join us this October for a hands-on, purposeful day of repurposing and restoration at the St John’s Community Kitchen Garden!
In this session, we’ll be repurposing disused railings found on site to create a safer, more secure area around the community pond—a key step in making the garden both welcoming and safe for everyone.
Volunteers will be:
🧰 Sanding and painting the metal railings🔧 Repositioning and installing them around the pond area🌱 Contributing to a safer, greener community space🎨 Adding creative touches to enhance the look and feel
This is a great opportunity to upcycle materials, learn some practical DIY and restoration skills, and support a meaningful improvement to a shared space.
