No Plant Left Behind

We aim to empower individuals to live more sustainably by designing change, involving communities, and offering educational resources, showing that every small action counts toward making the world better.

All About No Plant Left Behind

Our Roots

Originally founded in 2020, No Plant Left Behind was dedicated to being a zero-waste plant company. We aimed to provide sustainable houseplants with minimal environmental impact.

In 2023 this was changed into a Charity Status. Amy Alexandra Marsden, a top-trained landscape architect, realized the potential of combining design with sustainability. Driven by a passion for education and community involvement, she launched the new and improved No Plants Left Behind. In just six months, Amy grew the charity into a volunteer group of 12 individuals united by a common goal: teaching and inspiring sustainable living.

Our Aim

We aim to empower individuals to live more sustainably by designing change, involving communities, and offering educational resources, showing that every small action counts toward making the world better.

Our Vision

We aim to bridge global issues like climate change with local actions such as reducing food waste and fostering a deeper connection with nature. Our mission is to promote sustainable living, community engagement, and ongoing learning for a greener, more mindful future.

Our Projects/ Initiatives

No Plant Left Behind operates three main projects, each targeting different demographics and addressing various problems:

  1. Design Project: Creating sustainable design and innovating.

  2. Community Project: Engaging local communities in sustainability initiatives.

  3. Education Project: Offering educational programs to raise awareness and inspire action.

Together, these projects work in harmony to provide solutions for individuals, fostering a cohesive and supportive environment for sustainable living.

Key Issues Our Charity is Tackling

  1. Individual Efforts vs. Collective Impact: Address the belief that individual actions are insignificant in combating climate change.

  2. Defeatist Attitude: Counter the feeling that it's too late to save the planet, promoting hope and actionable solutions.

  3. Unsustainable Lifestyles: Highlight and promote sustainable living practices to reduce the environmental footprint of individuals.

  4. Macro vs. Micro Perspective: Bridge the gap between the macro problem of climate change and the perception that micro-scale actions can't make a significant difference, emphasizing the power of collective small actions.
