The Growing Change Hat is blue with red lettering—a nod to the sky above and the tomato plants we nurtured from rescued seeds. Made from organic cotton, it comes with a mini patch you can place anywhere, representing the small seeds that grew into something meaningful.
 
Growing Change turned everyday food waste into opportunities to reconnect with nature. Over one year, 500 discarded tomato seeds were rescued and nurtured into 300 plants grown by participants in homes and gardens across the UK. Each plant became a tiny pollination point for bees, a chance for hands-on learning, and a reminder that small actions can create real impact.
 
The hat is a wearable symbol of what’s possible when we make space for growth—both in our gardens and in our lives. Every stitch reflects the care, creativity, and resourcefulness that went into turning scraps into thriving green spaces.
