Gob Worm x No Plant Left Behind Collaboration Pin Collection

Created in collaboration with two young artists known as Gob Worm, this special pin collection celebrates the urban fauna and flora discovered, protected, and encouraged throughout the City Scape Project.

Each design represents a species we worked to support within the space — from pollinators and amphibians to often-overlooked city wildlife. These pins are a celebration of community-led environmental action, creativity, and the ecosystems that exist all around us in urban London.

Every purchase directly supports both future community greening projects and emerging young artists. Profits from all pin and sticker pad sales are split 50/50:

  • 50% goes towards supporting future active projects by No Plant Left Behind
  • 50% goes directly to supporting the two young collaborating artists
  •

The pins are made from metal, finished with a No Plant Left Behind backing card, and feature a cute heart-shaped clasp topper to symbolise the love and care for these species and habitats.

Please note: when selecting a pin, you are purchasing one individual pin unless otherwise specified.

The Stories Behind the Pins

Hedgehog Pin

Inspired by a community and team build day where participants were challenged to create hedgehog homes using scrap wood found on-site. Armed only with dimensions and knowledge of what hedgehogs need to thrive, teams designed and built shelters together.

One group named their creation the “HedgeFund Home” — joking that any hedgehog would need a hedge fund to survive London rent prices. The playful name became a memorable symbol of both creativity and the realities of city life.

Woodlouse Pin

This pin celebrates the importance of deadwood habitats and the community bug-building days held on-site. During one session, a team created a bug hotel they proudly named “Buggingham Palace.”

The workshops focused on building habitats using reclaimed natural materials, particularly deadwood, which provides essential shelter for creatures like woodlice and many other decomposers that help urban ecosystems thrive.

Bee Pin

The bee pin honours the pollinator-friendly planting introduced throughout the City Scape Project. Through community planting sessions and habitat creation, the space was designed to provide food sources and safe refuge for bees and other pollinators essential to urban biodiversity.

Pigeon Pin

Pigeons are often viewed as unwanted city birds, but this pin celebrates them for what they truly are — intelligent, resilient, and remarkable urban wildlife.

As part of the project, a pond with accessible stepping points was installed to provide safe water sources for birds and other animals. Pigeons freely use the space alongside other wildlife, reminding us that cities belong to nature too.

Frog Pin

This pin was inspired by a pond designed by James, a young landscape architecture student with a passion for water management and ecological design.

His carefully planned wildlife pond attracted frogs within just three days of installation. Alongside the pond, the community also built a frog and toad shelter, creating a safe habitat for amphibians in the middle of the city.

Fox Pin

Foxes were already visiting the site before the project began, showing just how adaptable urban wildlife can be. As the space developed, it became both a feeding and resting area for local foxes.

In addition to being iconic London wildlife, foxes also help naturally manage pests such as rats and mice within the community garden environment.

Each pin in the collection carries its own story — celebrating the species, people, and community action that helped shape the space.
